| Legends are born and they are made of different material than mortals like us. Sachin Tendulkar says that when he is batting he just sees the ball and nothing else and it reminds us of the legendary Arjun of the epic Mahabarat. When all the five Panadavas went to Dronacharya to learn dhanurvidya (archery) then the Guru Dronacharya put up a metal bird on a branch of a tree and asked the brothers what they see when they aimed at that target – the eye of the bird. All the brothers barring Arjun said that they were seeing the Guru, the tree, the branches, leaves and the bird. The clever Guru told the other brothers to leave the bow and arrow aside and asked Arjun to aim at the bird’s eye. Dronacharya then asked the same question to Arjun as to what he saw and Arjun told the Guru that he could see just the eye of the bird and nothing else, not even the Guru, the rest is history. Everybody knows about Sachin Tendulkar’s achievements, there is no need for us to enumerate his past achievements therefore we are focusing on what he can gain in the coming years based on his chart. Sachin was born on 24th April 1973 at Mumbai. At the time of his birth Libra lagna was rising on the eastern horizon and planetary configuration was such: Neptune – Scorpio, Moon, Rahu – Sagittarius, Jupiter, Mars – Capricorn, Mercury – Pisces, Sun, Venus – Aries, Saturn Taurus, Ketu – Gemini and Uranus, Pluto in Virgo. At the time of his birth Libra lagna was rising on the eastern horizon and lord of lagna Venus has occupied the 7th house along with Sun. Both the planets are aspecting the lagna and making the lagna (self) tremendously powerful. Rahu and Moon have occupied the 3rd house which represents prowess and the placement of Rahu in this house is very good. Rahu in this house makes a person so powerful that others are fearful of this person. We are reminded that Sunil Gavaskar also had Rahu in the 3rd house and in his playing days he could take the battle into the enemy’s camp. It may not be a misplaced reference over here that Dhirubhai Ambani also had Rahu in the 3rd house. Rahu gains exceptional strength in this house and the native changes the course of thinking of the field that they represent. In Sachin Tendulkar’s case Rahu’s mahadasha is on from 26th September 1995 and once Rahu dasha started it added to Sachin’s dominance in cricket. In his chart Rahu – Venus are operation till 14th April 2010. Rahu in the 3rd house and Venus in the 7th house are forming a beautiful trine with each other. Rahu is very potent due to its placement and Venus is the lord of lagna which represents self. This combination is in operation for more than twelve and a half years and has given tremendous results. Sachin’s dominance will remain in force throughout this period and this record breaking and making machine will continue with the same gusto.
